This is a catalogue intervened with paint, paper, and mixed media to rewrite and repaint a dreamlike constellation surrounding the early years of motherhood. I based it on the artist Melanie Smith’s Fordlandia project, because of the symmetries and reflections contained in the notions of exploration, recording, and process that accompany both approaches to the notion of travel.
